Scratchbuilt wooden model ships are fun to build, as well as fun to collect and display. Whether you build the ships yourself or purchase them already assembled, you can display them with great pride. These wooden ships look fantastic in any room that has an ocean-type theme or in a sophisticated masculine study. Close to a fish tank is another great place to display a wooden ship. If you have kids or pets, make sure to utilize a secure display case or put the ship out of reach since you don't want it to get broken or knocked over.
