Jerry Lewis "Dormi, Dormi, Dormi"
Tue, 06 Jan 2009 12:59:51 -0800 by songkona

Music: Harry WarrenLyrics: Sammy CahnVocals: Jerry LewisOrchestra director: Walter ScharfThis is a gorgeous lullaby beautifully crooned by Jerry Lewis. This sweet tune originally appeared as a duet in Jerry's film "Rock a Bye Baby" but this particular recording was made at a later date and released on a 45 record as a single. My intent in uploading this video was to share this lovely song with you, but I figured I might as well add some pictures, too! :) Since it's a lullaby, I figured I might as well start out with pictures of Jerry with babies and his family. I filled in the middle with some of my favorite pictures of just Jerry himself, then finished with my favorite Jerry/baby pictures!I hope you enjoy this song! I know I fall in love with Jerry all over again every time I hear it. :)

FLOYD CRAMER-YOU DON'T KNOW ME
Tue, 06 Jan 2009 08:38:29 -0800 by oldcountrytunes

Floyd Cramer (October 27, 1933 December 31, 1997) was an American Hall of Fame pianist who was one of the architects of the "Nashville Sound."Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, Cramer grew up in the small town of Huttig, Arkansas, teaching himself to play the piano. After finishing high school, he returned to Shreveport, where he worked as a pianist for the Louisiana Hayride radio show. After Cramer moved permanently to Nashville, Allen "Puddler" Harris, a native of Franklin Parish in northeastern Louisiana, replaced him as the pianist for the Hayride.Cramer moved to Nashville in 1955. The use of piano accompanists in country music was growing in popularity, and by the next year he was, in his words "in day and night doing sessions. [1] Before long, Cramer would become one of the busiest studio musicians in the industry, playing piano for stars such as Elvis Presley, Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline, The Browns, Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, Roy Orbison, Don Gibson, and the Everly Brothers, and many others. It's Cramer's piano, for instance, on Presley's first national hit, "Heartbreak Hotel."However, Cramer remained a virtual unknown to anyone but music industry insiders until he recorded a 45 rpm single in 1960 called "Last Date." This instrumental piece exhibited a relatively new concept for piano playing known as the "slip note" style. The record went to Number two on the Billboard Hot 100 pop music chart. This track is used as the closing theme for renowned Australian radio broadcaster Ray Hadley on his number one syndicated show in Sydney on radio station 2GB. Two more hits followed, 1961's "On the Rebound" (Number three) and "San Antonio Rose" (Number eight). By the mid-1960s, Cramer had become a respected performer, making numerous record albums and touring with guitar maestro Chet Atkins and saxophonist Boots Randolph; also performing with them as a member of the Million Dollar Band. .Floyd Cramer died of lung cancer in 1997 at the age of 64 and was interred in the Spring Hill Cemetery in the Nashville suburb of Madison, Tennessee. In 2003, he was inducted into both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee offers the "Floyd Cramer Competitive Scholarship."

DDR Hottest Party 2 Bust A Move Expert AA with hand markers on.
Mon, 05 Jan 2009 20:00:20 -0800 by darknight068

If anyone is wondering about the difference between the videos, this one is actually done on the mat with the hand markers on, as opposed to the controller of the last one. This chart is easily on my personal top 10 list of all time best stepcharts and songs for DDR. The hands gameplay makes this chart though, without them it's still cool but it actually loses a lot of it's dance feel. Now this was probably my best dance mat run of this song ever, and would've REALLY been special if the mat cooperated. It skipped on a left arrow, and as a result of that I missed a AAA. Personally, I'm still counting it. Like with Finally, it's not my fault the mat turned itself on nearly a 45 degree angle during gameplay. It's a real bastard trying to compensate for that sometimes, especially on a chart like this with 16th's all over the place.

Medicine Ball Six Pack Abs Workout Routine
Mon, 05 Jan 2009 08:35:14 -0800 by ExerciseFitnessGuru

http://exercisefitne ssguru.blogspot.com/ Lower Ab ExercisesBy [http://ezinearticle s.com/?expert=John_R ipper]John RipperJust about everybody wants a nice set of abs and a flat, defined stomach. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not understand the principles behind lower ab exercises and waste a lot of their time doing exercises that help little and can do them some serious harm. You have probably spent countless hours doing sit ups, crunches and leg lifts with little or no result. The reason that these lower ab exercises do not work as well as everyone expects them to is because they only work on the top layer of muscles. While these can quickly become developed after a short exercise period they will soon lose their definition, perhaps in as little as a day. Most people do not realize that they must first develop their deeper abdominal muscles, such as the transverse abdominus which runs underneath the major muscles that we associate with a six pack, or washboard abs.Top train these muscles you need to do lower ab exercises that involve high resistance and a long time interval. Try doing leg lifts for as long as you can, rather than in sets. Lie flat on your back and lift your legs together up to a 45 degree angle. While this is one of the most common lower ab exercises, it is often used incorrectly. Hold your legs up for a count of twenty, then lower them again. Wait ten seconds, then lift them up, this time for a count of fifteen. Repeat the exercise a third time, for a count of ten or until you cannot hold them up anymore (whichever comes first).Leg lifts are one of the more popular lower ab exercises that have been proven to be efficient in both building muscle and burning abdominal fat. However, by themselves they are not enough to help you develop the abs youve always wanted.Another leg lift exercise that is a little more tricky but produces excellent results especially in the lower abdominal region is vertical leg lifts. Lie flat on your back, put your legs together and lift until they are 90 degrees to the ground. Now use your lower abdominal muscles to try to move your feet up as much as possible, keeping your legs straight. This is one of the most challenging lower ab exercises, but mastering it will ensure excellent results. To burn fat, do short sets and hold the extended position for a count of three to five. To build massive abs, hold the position for as long as possible, ideally over ten seconds. One of the things that puts a lot of people off pursuing lower ab exercises is the constant balance you must maintain between building your abs and breaking your back! Sit ups are a definite no if you are over the age of thirty, and you should rather stick to gravity-related exercises like hanging leg-lifts. These are performed on an apparatus that you can use to support yourself in a standing position with your feet off the ground. Curl your legs up to your chest, hold and release. Be sure to keep your back as straight as possible in order to avoid straining your hips and lower back.Remember that the most important thing to be sure of when doing lower ab exercises or any other type of resistance training is to listen to your body. If your back feels like its hurting, it means you are doing permanent damage to yourself. Not every exercise is perfect for everyone, and the way your body is set up will determine which lower ab exercises are more effective for you.John Ripper is a fitness freak. Me Battling Rubik's Cube
Sun, 04 Jan 2009 07:50:03 -0800 by faxodotcom

Here's me clocking a 45, after a two decade hiatus, exposing myself to the dragon's breath once more. Used to clock sub 20's with a few 13's on the dragon. The dragon. A beast of such power that if you were to see it whole and complete in a single glance, it would burn you to cinders. Ready my knights for battle. They will ride with their king once more....Trivia note for enthusiasts: that cube is 25 years old. It was from Rubik's Game and had pegs that go into those plastic (not paper) sides. After I lubed it up it became one of my fastest speedcubes in the day. After pulling out of the closet days ago I ran an old number and it burst into pieces and the axis cracked. I glued it back the day before this video but it's still highly unstable so the turns are nursed with care...need to order a DIY.
